Place herbs in a glass jar with the 1 gallon /4.5ltrs of Vodka, seal and leave for 6-12 months in a dark cool place. Use on burses and swellings such as sprains; don’t use it on broken skin, external use only.

Herbal Ice, use on any strain, sprain, or pulled muscle instead of ice, where there is swelling, inflammation, pain and bruising San Huang San is the best!
To use San Huang San apply the paste in a thick layer over the injury and then cover with a gauze pad and secure with an elastic bandage (not to tight) larger areas may need tape to secure the covering.

Six herbs ground into a fine powder, mix with vaseline to make one of the most useful herbal formula in first aid for strains sprains, muscle pulls and contusions.
mix equal amounts of the powder with melted vaseline or beeswax to a mud like consistency or for knee injuries with damage to the cartilage or muscle tears mix with egg white to make a paste and use as a poultice.

Used on Chronic injuries to the Tendons and ligaments when the swelling and inflammation has gone but pain and stiffness remain this poultice contains many warm herbs that increase circulation of Qi and Blood.
To use this Poultice apply the paste in a thick layer over the injury and then cover with a gauze pad and secure with an elastic bandage (not to tight) larger areas may need tape to secure the covering.

SINEW AND BONE POWDER 100GRM

19 herbs ground into a fine powder can be mixed with Vaseline or even better mix the powder in a pan with Vodka or Rice Wine and heat untill the alcohol is burnt off and you are left with a thick paste, the Vodka will increase the power of the treatment.
Use on Chronic injuries to the limbs only, not on the head or over the internal organs.
