Qi Gong

Qi Gong can be translated as 'working energy', it's aim is to work, strengthen, and nourish the Qi in the body. This can be done in several ways; seated meditation, standing meditation or moving meditation. Each one of them affects the Qi in different ways.

In the West most exercises deplete the body leaving a person feeling tired or wiped out but with Qi gong a person would feel energized and refreshed.

All Qi gong exercises involve deep regulated breathing using the diaphragm to maximize the Lung capacity and fully oxygenate the blood. Many of the exercises involve gently stretching and loosening the joints and muscles in to remove blockages from the acupuncture channels and allows the Qi to flow more freely in the body.
