This DVD contains many applications from the Lau Gar system applying the concepts of joint manipulation for control and restaint as well as defences for violent confrontations.

This DVD teaching a dual form involving the application of unarmed techniques in attack and defence. The form is performed by two practitioners in a series of moves and counter moves utilising a variety of techniques.

San Jia Gun (Three Section Staff) a fast flexible weapon, capable of both long and short range techniques. Also on this DVD is a routine using the Three Section Staff against the Sword and Rattan Cane Shield

Xun Xue Shan (Seeking Point Fan) Although not designed as a weapon the fan is ideal for striking vulnerable areas of the body when in the closed position and used for brushing aside attacking limbs or weapons when in the open position.

2002 Summer Course in Tenby South Wales includes the warm up “Salute to the Sun”, a short stance routine done in 4 directions, showing the major stances of Lau Gar, Self defence against an armed attack, Yang Tai Chi form and walking techniques.
