Acupuncture
is one of the ancient branches of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
It deals directly with the human body's energy system, the
vital energy of life or "Qi."
Qi
flows around the body in 12 main Acupuncture channels or
meridians, each one of the channels is functionally connected
to a specific organ. Along each of the channels there are
'vital points' which can be stimulated by acupuncture or
acupressure and cause an effect on the Qi in the channel,
such as to move, strengthen, reduce or nourish the Qi.
